Scientific-researcher scholarship

Beside the social grant program, the scientific-researcher scholarship is also one of the oldest programs of the foundation.

The scholarship is meant to support individual or group research of university students, organizing exhibitions, publishing professional lectures/essays in topical reviews, participating at national and international conferences and study trips, joining research groups.

From the beginnings, the scholarship program was very popular and it was an outstanding initiative in the Hungarian-language university education from Romania.

During its 10 years’ activity, the foundation granted 883 applications of individuals and student groups. For reviewing the applications the foundation has established a separate committee and a system of criteria and credits. The members of the committee are invited university staff working in the Hungarian university education from Romania and experts. It is worth to mention that this scholarship was financed from private funds of the foundation.
